There was no bathroom on the third floor when we bought it. The third floor was for kids and lack of creature comforts toughened them up. In diaries, Malcolm Rudd recalls as a young boy waking up in a third floor bedroom and having to crack ice in a washing bowl. We're more indulgent. New bathroom is designed with old fixtures, including lights original to the house.
